Connect Your Cause™ is a social purpose company with a mission to strengthen nonprofits in each community. Through individuals and corporate partners, nonprofits receive visibility and monetary support for their missions.
What is Connect Your Causes's™ mission?
Connect Your Cause's™ mission is to positively impact nonprofits by providing visibility and getting people to engage in nonprofits' missions.
How does Connect Your Cause™ support itself? How is it funded?
Connect Your Cause™ is funded entirely by corporate partners. Ninety-two cents of each donated dollar goes directly to the nonprofit. The 7 cents is used to cover all credit card merchant fees, transaction fees, banking costs, reconciliation and disbursement.pay for credit card and disbursement fees.
What does it cost to use Connect Your Cause™?
If you choose to donate through the site, Connect Your Cause™ assesses $.07 of every $1.00 to cover all credit card merchant fees, transaction fees, banking costs, reconciliation and disbursement.pay for credit card and disbursement fees. This amount is deducted before the donation is sent to the Nonprofit.
Where does Connect Your Cause™ get its list of Nonprofits?
All Nonprofits listed on Connect Your Cause™ are 501C3s and have agreed to be listed on this website. Our list is updated continually to ensure we're adding new Nonprofits as they're created and removing those that have had their charitable status revoked.
Does Connect Your Cause™ screen or investigate the Nonprofits listed on the site?
All Nonprofits must have valid charitable status and be registered in the State of Florida.
I can't find my Nonprofit on Connect Your Cause™. Why?
If your nonprofit is not listed, please contact your nonprofit to request that it be included or register your nonprofit.
How does the money get to the Nonprofit?
After securely processing your donation online, Connect Your Cause™ disburses all donations in the month following the donation date. If your Nonprofit isn’t yet registered with Connect Your Cause™, visit the For Nonprofits section for more details about why they should.
Can I give to individuals in need through Connect Your Cause™?
No. Connect Your Cause™ can only facilitate donations for registered 501C3 Nonprofits.
Can I give to nonprofits that aren't registered Nonprofits through Connect Your Cause™?
No. Connect Your Cause™ can only facilitate donations for registered Nonprofits.
