Executive Director:  Ginger Watters

With a diverse background that includes executive positions in marketing, sales and strategic partnerships, Ginger crafted her partnership skills as Vice President for Hertz and with Walt Disney Attractions, directing the co-operative marketing with partners that included Marriott, Delta Airlines, VISITFLORIDA, Mattel, American Express, AT&T, Hershey’s and National Car Rental. 

She came to Tampa to lead the agency marketing team for Florida tourism as it transitioned from the Department of Commerce to a public/private entity, working with leaders in Florida’s industries and with the Commission on Tourism to maximize the potential for our state. 

In 2010, Ginger founded Connect Your Cause™, a social purpose marketing company that brings companies, individuals and nonprofits together through events, networking and an online exchange to raise the spirit of community involvement. Individuals rally friends and family to support meaningful Florida initiatives.

She serves on the board of Leadership Florida, the Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay, Social Enterprise Alliance, and is a member of Leadership Tampa.   She graduated from University of Florida and has an MBA from the University of Miami.
